I’m a CyberSec Student and a semi-competent guitarist, and I have a really annoying habit:
I like taking things apart. A lot.
Whether it’s a guitar pedal, a piece of software, or a game with some questionable code, I just can’t leave it alone. I have way too much curiosity in regards to what it is that makes things work, and how. Whatever grabs my interest will usually send me down that rabbit hole that ends with me staring at a debugger at 3 AM.
If you’re looking for a really random feed of niche finds or knowledge, then you’ve come to the right place. If you’re also looking for some really sick guitar shredding then you’re definitely not in the right place. Whilst I do play, my main focus is experimenting with sound and coming up with unique tones.
My main drive is to have fun discovering, and build a bank of knowledge. Knowing how something niche works, caching it away and then applying that logic somewhere weird or useful later on is where it’s at for me.
This blog is mainly dedicated to random Cybersec/RE finds or posts which just sometimes happen to overlap with music.
